Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad was founded in 2000 and since the day it was founded has evolved into a true leader in higher education, producing generations of competent and skillful professionals in the area of juridical sciences. Alongside with the Faculty headquarters or head office, which is in Novi Sad, the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary has accredited off-campus study centers in Subotica, Šabac, Niš and Belgrade.

Study programs at the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad have been conceptualized based on the vision of a better, faster and more efficient higher education system, which aims at acquiring competences and skills that will enable students to be more actively and creatively involved and to contribute to the creation of conditions for the development of a knowledge society. Competent teaching staff provides our students with the fundamental knowledge in the area of legal sciences and successfully prepares students for the bar exam.

Students who have completed studies at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad successfully find employment, as during the studies they are trained to become responsible professionals, able to adapt to new situations in practice and easily analyze legal problems facing them, all this in order to solve a particular legal case in the best possible way. Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad, as one of the leading proactively oriented higher education institutions acknowledges the fact that contemporary labor market requires highly skilled professionals. Therefore, along with providing high-quality and comprehensive theoretical knowledge, provision of practical skills and experience is also viewed as an essential element of the education process. This is precisely why the Centre for Education and Specialized Courses and the Centre for European Integrations have been established within the University. The main aim was to foster continuous education, students’ academic and professional development, development of young professionals through additional classes, other forms of educational activities and specialist courses which improve and broaden competences and skills necessary for present and future business prospects.

A number of specialist courses offered within these centers bring together a large number of guest speakers who share their rich experience and expertise shared through a variety of practical examples. Besides the large number of specialist courses, the Faculty organizes student internship in the Basic Court and High Court, as well as in business organizations.

Years of experience and the results of teaching staff as well as students who graduated from this faculty, can serve as a guarantee that the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary is going to respond to new challenges and work on further development of science, while continuing the process of transferring both theoretical and practical knowledge to students.
