We invite all interested students to apply for a new series of lectures of the Jean Monnet module - "Serbia's Accession to the European Union - Part 1".

Prof. Vladimir Medović Ph.D. will give a series of lectures connected with the main topic: The Accession of Serbia to the EU.

The aim of the lectures is to provide interesting content which is not included in the existing course on The Law of the European Union at the University Business Academy. The lectures are primarily oriented towards providing a better understanding of the whole process of accession of Serbia to the EU as well as the implications of that process on social and economic life. As a result, students are expected to be able to competently talk about processes which are directly or indirectly related to the accession of Serbia to the EU.

The lectures will cover the following narrow topics:

• Institutional framework and the legal system of the EU (2 lectures)
• Enlargement policy and neighborhood policy of the EU (2 lectures)
• The stabilization and association processes for the West Balkans (2 lectures)
• The Stabilization and Association Agreement between the EU and Serbia (2 lectures)
• Negotiations about Serbia’s EU membership (2 lectures)

Our target audience is, hopefully, all undergraduate students interested in acquiring additional knowledge and thus widening their existing knowledge on the process of Serbia’s accession to the European Union.
