ERASMUS+ MOBILITY EXPERIENCE AT UNIVERSIDAD LATINOAMERICANA DE CIENCIA Y TECNOLOGÍA
Our colleague, Ms. Tamara Staparski, a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, shared her experience from the Erasmus+ mobility program:
“From October 14 to October 18, 2024, I participated in a mobility program as a member of the academic staff at the partner institution Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, in the capital of Costa Rica, San José. During this time, I had the exceptional honor of collaborating with colleagues from various sectors, as well as delivering lectures to students on the topics 'Data Protection in the Digital Domain' and 'Adequate Environment as a Human Right.'
The lectures were held with mutual satisfaction, and the interaction with students, the teaching methods, the approach to lessons, ease of communication, and eagerness to engage, as well as the exchange of ideas and critical thinking, left a strong impression on me and significantly contributed to my ongoing professional development and work with students. During my stay at Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, I also took the opportunity to promote the joint Erasmus+ KA171 project as the Erasmus+ Coordinator at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad. I encouraged students to apply for the call for outgoing student mobility at my university within the same project, offering them the chance to spend three months at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad. I also highlighted the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program to explore Novi Sad and Serbia, experience a new culture and language, broaden their horizons and networks, enrich their knowledge, step outside their comfort zones, and contribute to their personal and professional development."
