The International Conference on the Independence of the Judiciary System was organized by the OSCE and held in Belgrade on November 28, 2018. The conference was organized within the framework of the project entitled "Strengthening Legal Guarantees for Independent and Impartial Tribunals" as part of the joint program of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
The ninth competition in public speaking and oratory skills, titled "SPEAK, SO THAT I MAY SEE YOU” (a famous quote by Socrates), was held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, in the study hall of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad.
The initial coordination meeting of partner institutions gathered around the project called ERASMUS+ 2018-1-HR01-KA107-047219 was held on October 30, 2018 at the College of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar. The meeting was hosted and organized by the College of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” as the “KA107mobility project holder”.
On 15 October 2018 we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Kamenko Kozarski, President of the Misdemeanor Court in Novi Sad, as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, University Business Academy in Novi Sad. In the Study Hall of the Faculty, Mr. Kozarski delivered a lecture on the topic: "Organization and the way in which misdemeanor courts in Serbia operate".
The signing ceremony upon signing of the cooperation agreement between University Business Academy from Novi Sad and the East China University of Political Science and Law took place on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the ceremonial hall of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad.
University Business Academy in Novi Sad is the first university from the region to become a member of the international university network called “The Compostela Group of Universities”. At the last assembly meeting of this association, the candidature of the University was presented by Ass. Professor Marijana Mladenov Ph.D., Vice-Dean for International Cooperation at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad.
