The constitutive session of the Council for Social Entrepreneurship of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina was held on April 12, 2018 in Novi Sad, and our professor from the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad, Dr. Lazar Ožegović, was elected President of the Council. This working body has been established as part of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism and its main goals and priorities have been clearly outlined during the meeting.
The 2018 Doctoral Awards Ceremony was held at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad on 17 May, 2018 for doctoral students who received their doctoral degrees from any of our constituent faculties.
All Ph.D. students who have defended their doctoral dissertations during the past year were invited to the ceremony and have been conferred this prestigious academic title of a Doctor of Science. The commencement ceremony took place in the main study hall called "Prof. Dr. Slavko Carić" at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad.
At the 59th Student Congress of Biomedical Sciences, held on the mountain of Kopaonik in the period April 26 - 30, 2018, the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Pančevo was represented by Marija Tomić and Jovana Aničić, fourth-year students of integrated academic studies in dentistry. The students worked together with their mentors and co-mentors and rightfully got the chance to represent their faculty at this prestigious event.
On May 8-9, 2018, in the study hall of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Simeon Gelevski, delivered a lecture on the topic "Legal Rhetoric".
On April 23, 2018, within the framework of the Erasmus+ 2017-1-HR01-KA107-035067 project for the mobility of students and staff of higher education institutions, taking place between partner countries involved in the program, the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad (FIMEK), organized the presentation of the program and a lecture for students on the same day.
At the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, on April 17, 2018 we had a wonderful opportunity to attend the presentation of the 13th Volume of a compendium - encyclopedia called: "The Historical Development of Insurance in Austria". The author of this fantastic edition is the world-renowned expert and academician - prof. Wolfgang Rohrbach, Ph.D.
