University Business Academy in Novi Sad became a member of the prestigious global business education network, called "Businet"
The “Businet” organization was established in 1987 when the 16 founding members decided to set up a network of higher education institutions to promote and develop the business curriculum and to stimulate and support mobility arrangements.
Today it represents a strong network of higher education institutions worldwide. It has representatives in 29 countries and includes over a hundred higher education institutions. The initial goal of the organization was to establish European educational programs in the business world in order to promote opportunities for higher education institutions, i.e. their teachers and students. As the needs of members of the organization have changed, reflecting the growth and diversity of education globally, so have the activities of the “Businet” organization changed, too.
The organization continues to take into account the needs of higher education institutions and their students, teaching staff, but also the economy. The network is very practical. The “Businet” network strives to fulfill the important task of providing opportunities for higher education institutions and their students across the world.
Members of the organization work together on the following activities:
- Organization of annual conferences;
- Student conferences;
- Exchanges of students;
- Exchanges of teaching staff;
- Organization of international internships;
- Harmonizing study programs and curricula.
After University Business Academy in Novi Sad had been admitted as a new member of the “Businet” network, its General Manager David Taylor said: "It is our great honor and pleasure that our community has received such a valuable and dependable partner, and at the same time- our first ever partner from the Republic of Serbia. I expect a lot of positive experiences with our new colleagues from Serbia".
