University Business Academy continued its tradition of lecture series by eminent guest speakers, and on 26 February 2016 our guest was the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Serbia, His Excellency - Majid Fahimpur.

On this special occasion, our students of the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary and students of the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management could learn many interesting things as part of the lecture entitled: "Iran and cultural cooperation with Serbia".

In addition to the Iranian Ambassador to Serbia, HE Majid Fahimpura, our University Business Academy also hosted Mr. Mohammad Javad Izadi, the Attaché for Economy, Mr. Reza Mottaghi, the official translator of the Embassy, ​​Dr. Maja Timotijević, President of the Serbian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Said Hosseini, Deputy President of the Serbian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce.

In the study hall of the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, the present professors, teaching assistants and students were addressed by His Excellency Mr. Majid Fahimpur, who spoke on the topic of cultural cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Also, one of the topics was the exchange of students between the two countries, as well as the upcoming fair which will be held in Tehran. The opening of the Iranian trade center in Belgrade was also mentioned. At the end of the presentation, students were given a unique opportunity to pose questions to the distinguished Ambassador, who then provided them with detailed replies.

Dr Maja Timotijević had the final word and briefly presented the Serbian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Timotijević also talked about connecting Serbian and Iranian markets, the cooperation between the two countries and the importance of the Serbian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce. In the end, she promised that they would gladly return to the University, in order to provide our students with a better and more detailed insight into this interesting topic.
