
International Scientific And Professional Conference At The Faculty of Applied Management, Economics And Finance in Belgrade
On 8 December 2016, the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance in Belgrade held a conference on the topic: "Innovation as a Pathway to the Future".
The conference, which was attended by over 84 authors, with more than 45 works presented, was divided into two sections: Education, Technology and Healthcare and Industry, Business and Economics. Besides representatives of the Faculty, this conference was attended by many prominent experts from research and educational state institutions and companies from Serbia and the region, as well as from Russia, Cyprus and Belgium.
The third conference organized at the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance in Belgrade, which was opened by Prof. Miodrag Brzaković, Ph.D. as President of the Faculty Council, has grown into a tradition of the Faculty. This year's conference had a very current issue of innovations and was dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of our greatest inventor - Nikola Tesla.
The aim of the conference was to achieve the affirmation of science, higher education and innovative and creative work as a significant factor in the development and economic prosperity of our country.
Rector of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, Prof. Mirko Kulić, Ph.D., who also attended the conference, emphasized the need for continuing investment in new and innovative programs, as a way of investing in our future. Prof. Mirko Kulić underlined the importance of creative work, staff training and investment in all kinds of innovative activities, particularly at higher education institutions.
