In accordance with the decision of the Rectors' Council of “KONUS” to establish cooperation with the Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Srpska, a joint session of the two conferences was held on October 31, 2016.

On that occasion, an agreement was signed between the University Conference of Serbia and the Rectors’ Conference of the Republic of Srpska, which is expected to lead to a more intensive cooperation between the accredited public and private universities of both countries.

The Rector of the University Business Academy attended the signing of the said agreement together with representatives of all accredited public and private universities which are members of the Rectors' Conferences. Our Rector also attended a meeting that preceded the signing, at which some specific aspects and forms of cooperation between the two conferences and their members had been discussed.

The established cooperation will take place primarily through the organization of joint activities aimed at promoting and implementing the objectives and principles set out in this agreement. Furthermore, the conference is determined to work on improving the mobility of teachers and students in the framework of international projects.

The signing of agreement between the two Rectors' Conferences in Bijeljina was attended by Radmila Pejić, the Assistant Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska and Prof. Ranko Božičković, Ph.D., President of the Council for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska.
