Rector Of The University Business Academy In Novi Sad, Professor Mirko Kulić Ph.D., Attends The Celebration Of Saint Sava’s Day

On January 27, 2017 in the National Theatre in Belgrade, the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development organized a celebration in honor of Saint Sava, the patron saint of schools in Serbia.

The celebration was attended by numerous officials, among whom were the Serbian Patriarch Irinej, the Serbian President- Tomislav Nikolić, and many other significant guests, including the Serbian Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development- Mr. Mladen Šarčević and many others. Professor Mirko Kulić, Ph.D., Rector of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, was among them. On this occasion, special awards in name of Saint Sava were awarded for the year 2016 to most successful students, teachers and institutions for their extraordinary contributions to the quality of education.

"Our University’s future development largely depends on scientific and research work. We have good potentials for that at our University, and this should only be further encouraged and guided towards scientific recognition both in the Republic of Serbia and in the wider Southeast Europe area. In our opinion, the University Business Academy must be strongly oriented towards comprehensive internationalization, by which we primarily imply membership in the YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) partnership. YUFE is the best-rated University network of the European Commission's largest pilot project (Erasmus+), known as the European University Initiative. Such memberships include strategic cooperation in all areas, with an emphasis on open programs for students, quality systems based on attractive curricula, innovative methods and a digitally transformed learning process."
