At the International Education Fair called "PUTOKAZI" (eng. “Signposts”), which was held for the twelfth time at the Novi Sad Fair in the period March 6-8 2017, special awards were presented for the first time to the best educational institutions. Among them, University Business Academy in Novi Sad was awarded the Grand Champions Trophy of Novi Sad Fair for the provision of high quality education.

The Grand Champions Trophy of Novi Sad Fair, awarded to the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, is yet another in a series of awards that confirms the commitment end continuous efforts of our university leadership together with all its constituent faculties aimed at quality improvement. Quality assessment of educational institutions was conducted by an international assessment committee, and based on the overall results of quality evaluation the University Business Academy in Novi Sad won the Great Champions Trophy of Novi Sad Fair for the provision of high quality education.

University Business Academy in Novi Sad has also won four great gold medals for quality education. The medals were awarded to: the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad, the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Pančevo and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Novi Sad. The Grand Champions Trophy for quality education was presented to the Vice-Chancellor of the University Business Academy - Prof. Marko Carić, Ph.D. by Mr. Mladen Šarčević, Minister of Education of the Republic of Serbia and Mr. Slobodan Cvetković, Director General of the Novi Sad Fair.

Prof. Marko Carić, as Vice-Chancellor of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad and Dean of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, upon receiving this great recognition, expressed his satisfaction that the University Business Academy received this award in the first place, but also pointed out that in the 90-year-long history of presenting awards for quality at the Novi Sad Fair, this is the first time that the field of education, namely primary, secondary and higher, education were added to this category for awards. "We are glad to have won the Champions League, so to say, in the field of education and this award will certainly be a stimulus for further work", said prof. Marko Carić. When asked what makes the University Business Academy different from other higher education institutions, prof. Marko Carić said: "We do not compare ourselves to others; we simply constantly work on our own self-improvement. We try as hard as possible to develop and to engage in domestic and international educational trends, to be able to offer more to our students and be a quality partner and a model institution when it comes to higher education. The University Business Academy in Novi Sad is one of the few educational institutions in the country that has not experienced a decline in terms of student enrolment figures. This can be explained by permanent efforts and devotion of all employees so that the University can grow and develop, both in the domestic and international context. We use every opportunity for progress and do not allow ourselves to repeat mistakes. We can probably best emphasize our newest goals and give a new dimension to our work with the motto: Fulfilled wishes are not our motive! University Business Academy strives to constantly move forward."
