Faculty of Applied Management, Economics And Finance as Partner of the Conference: Eraz 2017
At the invitation of the Association of economists and managers of the Balkans, the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance joined the consortium of the scientific conference ERAZ – SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BASED ON KNOWLEDGE, as the only partner faculty in Serbia.
The aim of the conference is the gathering of the academic community (experts, scientists, engineers, researchers, students and others) and publishing research papers for the purpose of popularizing science, as well as personal and collective affirmation of researchers.
The third ERAZ 2017 conference was held at the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade on June 8, 2017. The event was opened by Prof. Vuk Bevanda Ph.D., as President of the Organizing Committee of the conference and Prof. Miodrag Brzaković Ph.D., President of the Council of the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance.
The greatest contribution to the conference were current research papers of more than 100 researchers from different parts of Europe. We had the opportunity to get to know some of them while listening to presentations by renowned authors from Austria, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia. Five teachers from the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance participated in the conference, with research papers addressing from a unique perspective the topic of sustainable economic development. As representatives of the Faculty, teaching assistants Dina Lazarević and Maja Ilić presented their paper on "The Application of Information and Communication Innovations for Hearing Impaired People". With their study, the two young researchers wanted to draw attention to the obstacles and prejudices that hearing impaired people in Serbia are faced with, as well as to present opportunities for their inclusion in the educational process. Creating opportunities for the education of people with hearing impairment is a challenge that will be intensively tackled by the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance in the near future.
At the end of the conference, a representative of the Association of Economists and Managers of the Balkans, Ms. Nikolina Vrcelj, thanked the presenters and all attendees of the conference and pointed out the importance of such events for strengthening regional cooperation in the field of education.
