University Business Academy in Novi Sad has signed an agreement on academic cooperation with the Shanghai Second Polytechnic University (SSPU).

Prof. Dragan Ilić was the representative of our University and coordinated talks which led to the signing of this agreement. It is a huge step forward compared to the usual academic agreements, as this agreement envisages the development of a joint master program in the field of international economics, as well as the possibility for our students to take the advantage of an exchange program for one semester or the entire academic year. What is more, this agreement has opened a whole series of opportunities for our students to complete their internship in some of the most prestigious companies in Shanghai in the field of tourism, hotel industry, marketing, ICT, environmental protection/ecology etc.

The Shanghai Polytechnic University is a higher education institution, where engineering is a dominant scientific discipline, with coordinated development of a multidisciplinary approach to studies including economics, management, literature, art and other sciences. The University was founded in 1960. For over fifty years of its existence, the University has grown from a technologically oriented university intended for adult education to a higher education institution which has now become synonymous with the "project of cultivating talents serving the national interest".

The University consists of the main campus and several branch campuses, which include a total area of almost 800,000 m2. The main campus comprises a gross construction area of nearly 300,000 square meters, while experimental centers and training centers cover an area of over 400,000 square meters. The university implements a two-tier management system. There are 10 teaching units of the second tier, including the College of Engineering (which comprises the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering, School of Computer and Information Engineering, School of Environmental and Materials Engineering), the College of Arts and Sciences (which includes the School of Foreign Languages, School of Science, Faculty of Public Relations, and General Education Research Centre), the School of Economics and Management, the School of Applied Arts and Design, the School of International Exchange and the College of International Vocational Education. At this moment more than 20,000 students are studying at the University.
