University Business Academy in Novi Sad and Baku Business University, Republic of Azerbaijan, concluded a cooperation agreement on 5 October 2017. The agreement was signed by Prof. Marko Carić Ph.D. as Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad and Mr. Ibad Musa Oglu Abasov, Rector of the Baku Business University from the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The agreement regulates cooperation in terms of scientific and research work, projects and educational activities, which have been assessed as mutually beneficial areas from the point of view of both institutions.

According to Prof. Marko Carić, as one of the signatories of the agreement, the cooperation between the two universities will, hopefully, enable the mobility of students and teaching staff, joint projects, seminars, academic conferences, expert meetings and publication of research and academic papers. Representatives of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad will already make the first step in this cooperation by attending a conference that will be held in May next year at Baku Business University. On the other hand, students from the Republic of Azerbaijan will have the opportunity to attend the 2018 Summer School at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad.

The signing of this cooperation agreement represents yet another step towards the expansion of international cooperation in order to improve the quality of education at University Business Academy in Novi Sad.
