At the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, on April 17, 2018 we had a wonderful opportunity to attend the presentation of the 13th Volume of a compendium - encyclopedia called: "The Historical Development of Insurance in Austria". The author of this fantastic edition is the world-renowned expert and academician - prof. Wolfgang Rohrbach, Ph.D. The presentation was hosted and organized by the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, University Business Academy in Novi Sad.

In addition to Professor Rohrbach, members of the organizing committee were prof. Milan Počuča Ph.D., as Vice Dean for Science, Quality and Development at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, prof. Zdravko Petrović, Ph.D. a lawyer and representative of the Association for Compensation and Insurance Law in Belgrade, prof. Dragan Bataveljić Ph.D., a professor at the Faculty of Law in Kragujevac, University of Kragujevac, and Ms. Zorica L. Šipovac, an exclusive insurance sales specialist. Members of the organizing committee addressed the present guests, namely, professors and students of the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, but also numerous experts in the field of insurance and friends of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad.

The compendium - encyclopedia "The Historical Development of Insurance in Austria", Vol. 13, is a unique, multilingual work that combines insurance theory and practice. This unique encyclopedia was written thanks to the cooperation among a large number of authors, i.e. leading experts in the field of insurance, as well as various other areas related to insurance. As a result, this book provides us with an all-encompassing evolutionary and historical perspective on the development of insurance, while also connecting the Republic of Serbia and Austria in that regard.

The academician, Dr. Wolfgang Rohrbach stressed that the Encyclopedia "The Historical Development of Insurance in Austria", Vol. 13, represents a new type of encyclopedia and historiography, which is not about the history of insurance in the present-day Republic of Austria, but about the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Dr. Milan Počuča noted that the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad immediately recognized the significance of the Compendium - Encyclopedia "Historical Development of Insurance in Austria" by the academician Prof. Rohrbach, whose work has become famous and recognized in the whole world. Dr. Zdravko Petrović used the opportunity to share with the audience some interesting anecdotes of his long-time friendship with academician, Dr. Rohrbach. He also stressed that today Dr. Rohrbach enjoys great appreciation and respect in Vienna, as an academician and world-renowned expert of Serbian origin. The keynote speaker at this event, Ms. Zorica L. Šipovac, thanked the organizing committee of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad and especially the academician, Dr. Rohrbach, with whom she has had extremely pleasant and fruitful cooperation. Ms. Šipovac also thanked all guests and participants who recognized the importance of Dr. Rohrbach’s work and contributed to the special occasion by attending this presentation.

In the end, Professor Rohrbach stressed with great pleasure that he would like to leave copies of the previous three editions of his encyclopedia as a present to the Library of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad.
