DOCTORAL AWARDS CEREMONY AT UNIVERSITY BUSINESS ACADEMY

The 2019 Doctoral Awards Ceremony was held at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad on 15 May, 2018 for doctoral students who received their doctoral degrees from any of our constituent faculties.

All Ph.D. students who have defended their doctoral dissertations during the past year were invited to the ceremony and have been conferred this prestigious academic title of a Doctor of Science. The commencement ceremony took place in the main Lecture Hall called "Prof. Dr. Slavko Carić" at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad.

All attendees were welcomed by Prof. Mirko Kulić, Ph.D., the Rector of University Business Academy in Novi Sad, and Prof. Marijana Carić, Ph.D., President of the University Council. “While conceptualizing and developing study programs, including our doctoral study programs, we are always led by the fact that there can be no real experts in any field without carefully designed study programs in higher education”, said the University Rector, prof. Mirko Kulić.

All Ph.D. students and their dissertations were presented by their mentors, who placed particular emphasis on the importance of contributions that these dissertations have made to the world of science. After these presentations of doctoral students and their dissertations by mentors, Prof. Mirko Kulić, the University Rector, officially handed in the diplomas to doctoral students, thus officially conferring them the degree of a Doctor of Science.
