
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNIVERSITY BUSINESS ACADEMY IN NOVI SAD AT THE ASSEMBLY OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY NETWORK “COMPOSTELA”
The 25th Assembly of the Global University Network “Compostela” took place at the University of Guadalajara (Mexico), from June 3 to June 5, 2019.
Our University representatives took active part in the work of the assembly: Dr. Marijana Mladenov, Head of the Office for International Cooperation of the University Business Academy and Vice-Dean for International Cooperation at the Law Faculty of the University Business Academy and Prof. Jelena Matijaševic Obradović, Ph.D., Advisor to the Dean for Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities at the Law Faculty of the University of Novi Sad.
During the first day of the assembly, elections were held for the president of the network. As a result, Prof. Marek Kręglewski, Ph.D., a Full Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, “Adam Mickievicz” University (Poland) was unanimously elected. After the elections, members of the Assembly discussed the role of universities in the process of internationalization of cities, while the focus of the second and third day was to look at various aspects of "internationalization at home", with special attention being paid to the involvement and engagement of all members of Compostela Group in the development of the distance learning platform “COIL” (Collaborative Online International Learning) . As a full-fledged member of Compostela, the University Business Academy in Novi Sad actively participates in all activities of the mentioned network, while maintaining the tradition of academic openness to higher education institutions from all over the world.
