The Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad organized the 16th International Scientific Conference entitled: "Legal Days - Prof. Slavko Carić", focusing this year on "Law and Digital Technologies". The conference was held in the period 26 - 28 September, 2019 at Media Info Center of the Sports and Business Center of Vojvodina in Novi Sad.

“Legal Days - Prof. Slavko Carić“ is ​​an international scientific and professional gathering which has been organized by the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad for sixteen consecutive years. Over 100 authors participated this year, of which 20 participants from abroad, namely, from Russia, Romania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. "With this year's conference, we wished to achieve two goals. First of all, we wanted to remember the founder and first dean of the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, prof. Slavko Carić PhD, who was a leading expert in the field of commercial law in former Yugoslavia. Our second goal was to emphasize the importance of information technology in law,'' said Dr. Mirko Kulić, Dean of the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad. Renowned scientists, professors and law experts from our country and abroad were participants in this year’s scientific gathering. One of the main conclusions was that information technologies have become an indispensable tool in all areas of law and have been commonly used in administrative proceedings, criminal proceedings, etc.

The conference was open to students and all others interested in attending and participating in the discussions.
