
REPRESENTATIVES OF UNIVERSITY BUSINESS ACADEMY IN NOVI SAD AT THE WORLD EXHIBITION "EXPO 2020 DUBAI"
Rector of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, prof. Marko Carić, together with Head of the Office for International Cooperation of the University Vice-dean for International Cooperation at the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad, Ass. Prof. Marijana Mladenov, participated in the 4th thematic week entitled: "Knowledge and Learning" as part of the world exhibition "Expo 2020 Dubai". On that occasion, representatives of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad presented the educational and scientific research processes taking place at our university and made contacts with prospective partners from the United Arab Emirates and representatives of other countries participating in the World Exhibition.
In order to establish bilateral cooperation, as well as initiate joint participation in international projects, prof. Marko Carić and Ass. Prof. Marijana Mladenov held meetings with representatives of the following institutions: University of Malta, Domain Academy (Malta), Advenjo Academy (Malta), ASOMI College (Malta), EIA University (Colombia), Saint Thomas University in Bogotá (Colombia), The MARA Technological University (Malaysia), University of Malaya (Malaysia), University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), University of Vigo (Spain), Business Academy in Rijeka (Croatia), American University in Dubai, Curtin University Dubai. During the meetings, some new instruments were presented which can be used for increasing the availability of education, and participants could exchange experiences about the challenges imposed by the Covid 19 pandemic on the higher education sector. One of the important topics was innovations in the field of scientific research, with special attention being paid to opportunities within the Erasmus+ program.
Prof. Marko Carić and Ass. Prof. Marijana Mladenov emphasized that one of the greatest benefits of their presence at the "Expo 2020 Dubai" event was the establishment of direct contact with a large number of institutions in the area of higher education from all over the world.
