
MONITORING VISIT FOR THE DUGEOR PROJECT
As part of the "Strengthening Capacities for the Implementation of Dual Education in the Higher Education System of Georgia – DUGEOR" project, a monitoring visit was conducted from March 14 to 15, 2024. The project activities were monitored by the project manager from the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, namely, Prof. Marijana Mladenov PhD, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation at the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad. The meeting was hosted by the Georgian Technical University.
During the visit, the implementation of project activities and the collaboration among consortium members were evaluated in the context of achieving the project's goals. Participants in the monitoring visit included representatives from various Georgian partner institutions: the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Batumi State Maritime Academy, Georgian Technical University, Vengo Group, Wine Company Shumi, INTERLOGGEORGIA, Wilhelmsen Ships Service Georgia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, and the National Forestry Agency.
DUGEOR is a Category 3 Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project, aimed at supporting Georgia—a third country not fully participating in the Erasmus program—in meeting socio-economic needs through the implementation of dual education within the higher education system. This project aims to ensure structural improvements and innovations in the higher education sector.
