DISCUSSION FORUM ON THE DUALBA MODEL
As part of the project “Strengthening Capacities for the Implementation of Dual Education in Albanian Higher Education (DUALBA),” a Discussion Forum on the DUALBA Model (Generic Dual Higher Education Model) was held on June 4 and 5, 2026, at Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës. Its aim was to facilitate an exchange of views among a range of interested stakeholders and to validate the DUALBA model of dual education. The Forum also highlighted the benefits of the model for the industrial sector and for the enhancement of students' competencies within dual higher education.
The Forum was attended by Prof. Milena Galetin, PhD, as a representative of the project team of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad (Serbian acronym: UPANS). Prof. Galetin is Head of the Office for International Cooperation at UPANS and a manager on the DUALBA project.
DUALBA is a Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project, Strand 3, whose aim is to support Albania’s efforts, as a third country that does not participate fully in the Erasmus+ program, to respond to socio-economic needs through the implementation of dual education within its higher education system, and to ensure structural improvement and innovation in the higher education sector.
