University Business Academy in Novi Sad and Rio de Janeiro State University have signed an agreement on strategic partnership.

Rio de Janeiro State University was founded in 1950 and since then has established itself as one of the most significant higher education institutions in South America. Its importance in the national and international academic context is continuously being confirmed by the quality of education it offers, scientific research and hundreds of projects related to the promotion of culture that this university participates in.

At this point, Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) has over 26,000 students, 2,300 teachers, 97 courses it offers, a large network of 21 electronically connected libraries, 350 laboratories, as well as 1,300 internship and partnership agreements concluded with private companies and government agencies.

In the next five years, the University Business Academy and Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) will establish cooperation in the following fields:

• Exchange of undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as professors and administrative staff,
• Development of educational and research activities,
• Organization of trainings, seminars and international conferences,
• Promotion of technical, scientific and cultural activities,
• Development and organization of trainings for teachers and researchers in the form of highly specialized courses,
• Promotion of joint publications and research papers.
