Wishing to improve the quality of studying in Serbia, on Thursday, 07 July 2016, at the Media Center in Belgrade, representatives from five private universities in Serbia, namely: University Business Academy in Novi Sad, Metropolitan University, Educons University, Alfa BK University and the University of Novi Pazar presented, signed and publicized their joint Declaration on the improvement of the quality of higher education in Serbia.

In the signed Declaration, representatives from the previously mentioned universities invited all higher education institutions in Serbia to join them and direct their activities towards raising the quality of higher education and fighting the negative trends. What is more, the signatories of the Declaration agreed that only free competition among higher education institutions can bring a better, more efficient and higher quality higher education. In order to implement the commitments outlined in the Declaration, conference members announced the establishment of the Ethics Committee and the adoption of the Code of Ethics in the near future.
