As a well-known professor and expert in the field of law, he was engaged by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia in drafting and passing laws. Legal rhetoric is one of the most demanding, but at the same time one of the most responsible types of speech. Legal rhetoric should not be viewed only as a way of expressing the legal content, but also as a way of interpreting laws and justice. Legal speaking - in the narrow sense of the word (court speaking) is the oldest known form of public speaking in general, and as such is the most important for the development of rhetoric as a separate discipline. Words and communication are the key resources of any lawyer.
That is why the primary goal of rhetoric studies is to develop communication skills and a specific culture of legal expression, which is particularly important when studying legal rhetoric. Legal rhetoric is an important element of the legal profession, and while studying it students are required to get acquainted with the theoretical foundations of rhetoric as a science. At the end of the lecture, students of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad had the opportunity to ask questions related to the field of legal rhetoric and get detailed answers from Professor Gelevsky.
