At the 59th Student Congress of Biomedical Sciences, held on the mountain of Kopaonik in the period April 26 - 30, 2018, the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Pančevo was represented by Marija Tomić and Jovana Aničić, fourth-year students of integrated academic studies in dentistry. The students worked together with their mentors and co-mentors and rightfully got the chance to represent their faculty at this prestigious event.

Marija Tomić presented the paper entitled "Frequency of occurrence of periapical lesions in endodontically treated teeth detected by radiography" under the mentorship of Ass. Prof. Dr. Dragana Pešić, and co-mentored by a teaching assistant Dr. Marija Lalović.

Jovana Aničić presented the paper entitled "The Influence Of Socio-Economic and Dietary Factors on Dental Status and the Needs For Prosthodontic Treatment of Adolescent Patients In Pančevo". The student was mentored by Ass. Prof. Dr. Maja Pavlović and won the award for the best research study in her session.
