FINAL ACTIVITIES OF THE DUGEOR PROJECT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED
Representatives of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad and the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary took part in the final activities of the international Erasmus+ project “Strengthening Capacities for the Implementation of Dual Education in Georgia’s Higher Education System – DUGEOR,” held from August 31 to September 4, 2026, at the Georgian Technical University in Tbilisi.
The Steering Committee session was held on September 1 and was devoted to evaluating the level of implementation of the project results, reporting obligations toward the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), and determining the timeline for carrying out the remaining activities. Representing the project team of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad (UPANS) at this meeting were Prof. Marijana Mladenov, PhD, Prof. Milena Galetin, PhD, and Prof. Svetlana Marković, PhD.
The closing conference was held on September 2 and 3, with our university represented by Prof. Milena Galetin, PhD, and Prof. Svetlana Marković, PhD. The conference presented the systemic DUGEOR model of dual higher education in detail, along with an analysis of the results of its pilot testing in Georgia, the legal framework, and institutional recommendations for further implementation. Through constructive dialogue with all relevant stakeholders — representatives of higher education institutions, the business sector, and competent authorities — guidelines were defined for the long-term sustainability and dissemination of the project's results.
