STUDENTS FROM MEXICO AT THE UNIVERSITY BUSINESS ACADEMY IN NOVI SAD
Within the framework of the International Summer School "Intercultural Management", organized by the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, students from “Universidad Tecnológico de Monterrey“ of Mexico, the largest university in Latin America, visited the University Business Academy in Novi Sad. On that occasion, they had a meeting with professor Marijana Carić, Ph.D., President of the University Council and professor Mirko Kulić, the University Rector.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Dejan Mihailović, who works as a professor at the “Universidad Tecnológico de Monterrey“ in Mexico and the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad, prof. Dragan Ilić, Ph.D., the Coordinator for international cooperation at the University Business Academy and professor at the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad, as well as Nenad Skokić, a teaching associate at the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad.
Prof. Marijana Carić and prof. Mirko Kulić welcomed our guest students from Mexico and expressed gratitude to prof. Ilić and prof. Mihailovic on behalf of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad for their continuous efforts on the establishment and development of fruitful international cooperation with universities from abroad. Professor Ilić talked about his trip to Mexico where he visited the “Universidad Tecnológico de Monterrey“, as one of the most respectable Latin American universities. During this visit a second level of cooperation was established, which means that students from Mexico are going to come to Novi Sad and spend the whole academic year or one semester at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad. Students from Mexico shared their positive impressions of their so-far stay in Novi Sad and lecture on the topic of Intercultural Management and the Future of the EU, held by prof. Jelena Vapa Tankosić and prof. Dejan Mihailović.
Prof. Dragan Ilić emphasized that this international summer school has now become a tradition at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad and that no East European University has started to implement student exchanges with the “Universidad Tecnológico de Monterrey“ from Mexico, so that students from Latin America have the opportunity to attend summer school classes in this part of Europe.
